Circular by design. Inclusive by nature.
STAXX blocks are made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic.
Fishermen across Malaysia are employed to collect waste plastic from rivers and beaches. This helps to clear the waterways resulting in healthier rivers and oceans, and more fish!

Plywood is a leading driver of illegal logging in SE Asia, with most exhibition booth traditionally built for single use.
STAXX replaces plywood with sustainable, reusable booth systems—eliminating 50,000kg of plywood to date and saving millions of trees.*

STAXX provides employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
STAXX can be paired with sustainable graphics such as mycelium grown logos to FSC Cardboard with soy-based inks – all recycled after the event.
We only use carpet that can be recycled into resin pellets. These resin pellets can be used to make more STAXX blocks.
Bolt-on, tool-free accessories make STAXX a longer-lasting, reconfigurable, low-waste system.
As all our blocks are rental, everything returns to our warehouse for reuse, eradicating waste on the event floor.
Sustainability Principles
Building Better: STAXX Sustainability Principles
At STAXX, sustainability isn’t an afterthought — it’s built into every block. From the materials we choose to the way our system is designed, we’re rethinking how the world builds temporary structures. Here are the core principles that guide us:
1. Turning Waste Into Value
Every STAXX block is made from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic, salvaged from rivers and beaches across Malaysia. We work with local fishermen, providing them with income to collect discarded plastic waste before it reaches the ocean.
Production happens in Johor Bahru, just 20km from our warehouse in Singapore — keeping transport emissions low.
So far, 14,000 blocks have been produced, repurposing over 18,000kgs of plastic waste — the equivalent of 1.5 million shampoo bottles given a second life.
2. Reuse Over Replace
Single-use booths mean single-use waste. In just one year, STAXX helped customers avoid over 50,000kgs of plywood being thrown away after trade shows — plywood that would otherwise be incinerated.
That’s the equivalent of thousands of trees saved from unregulated logging in Malaysia and Indonesia, where much of the world’s plywood is sourced.
With STAXX, every block is reused again and again, replacing wasteful custom builds with a smarter, circular system.
3. Design for Longevity
STAXX blocks are built to last. Strong, durable, and tool-free, they can be assembled and disassembled countless times without damage. From exhibitions to classrooms to community builds, the same blocks keep coming back — reducing costs, saving time, and cutting waste.
4. Smarter Materials Across the System
Sustainability goes beyond the blocks. Our wider initiatives include:
Signage made from mycelium (mushrooms) — fully compostable after use.
Printed branding on FSC-certified cardboard with soy-based inks — non-toxic, recyclable, and safe.
Carpet recycling — old carpets transformed into pellets for new products instead of landfill.
Every detail is considered — because small changes add up to big impact.
5. Accessibility for All
STAXX is affordable and modular, making sustainable building solutions available to everyone, not just big-budget brands. Our goal is to make the circular economy easy to adopt — and impossible to ignore.
6. A Movement, Not Just a Product
STAXX is more than a block — it’s part of a bigger movement to end single-use exhibition stands and design out waste. By choosing STAXX, our partners are not just building structures — they’re building a future where sustainability and creativity go hand in hand.
The Future We’re Building
Our vision is simple: a world where temporary structures leave no permanent damage. With STAXX, every build is a chance to do more with less, reuse instead of waste, and support people, the planet, and the future.
